1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using QueueUp, whether as a Business User or an End User. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions. Breach of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of access under clause 9 of the Terms and Conditions.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

  • Engage in, promote, or facilitate any illegal activity;
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications through the Platform;
  • Upload, transmit, or introduce malware, viruses, or other malicious code;
  • Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to interact with the Platform, join queues, or access an account, without our prior written permission;
  • Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Platform without authorisation;
  • Misuse, overload, or abuse our APIs or infrastructure;
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform, or conduct security testing, without our prior written permission;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform;
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, Business staff, or QueueUp staff;
  • Engage in fraud, including providing false payment or identity information;
  • Impersonate another person, business, or entity;
  • Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person.

3. Business User Obligations

  • Provide accurate business registration and contact details, and keep them up to date;
  • Only use the personal information of End Users obtained via QueueUp for the purpose of managing your queue and providing service to those patrons, consistent with the Data Processing Addendum and applicable privacy law;
  • Not use QueueUp to send unsolicited marketing to End Users who have not separately consented;
  • Not use the Platform to harass, discriminate against, or unfairly treat patrons in the queue.

4. End User Obligations

  • Provide accurate name and contact information when joining a queue;
  • Not create multiple, fraudulent, or duplicate queue entries to gain an unfair position in a queue;
  • Not use another person's details to join a queue without their knowledge and consent;
  • Not misuse the QR code scanning feature to disrupt a Business's queue or premises.

5. Consequences of Breach

A breach of this Policy may result in a warning, removal of content, suspension, or termination of access to the Platform, in accordance with clause 9 of the Terms and Conditions, and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you become aware of conduct that may breach this Policy, please report it to [email protected] with as much detail as possible.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website.
