SMS Terms of Service
1. Consent to Receive SMS
By providing your mobile phone number to join a queue as an End User, or by registering a Business account and providing a contact mobile number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from QueueUp related to the Service, as described below. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing any Subscription.
2. Types of Messages We Send
- Queue status alerts — for example, estimated wait time updates and “you're up next” notifications, sent to End Users;
- Verification codes and two-factor authentication (2FA) codes, sent to Business Users and, where applicable, End Users;
- Security alerts relating to your account;
- Billing and subscription reminders, sent to Business Users;
- Password reset codes;
- Marketing messages, sent only where you have separately opted in.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your use of the Service — for example, an End User joining a queue may receive one to several messages during that queue session, while a Business User may receive periodic billing or account-related messages. Marketing message frequency, where opted in, will not exceed a reasonable cadence.
4. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to messages we send. We are not responsible for charges levied by your carrier.
5. Opting Out (STOP)
You may opt out of marketing SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any marketing message, or by contacting [email protected]. Opting out of marketing messages does not opt you out of essential service messages (such as queue status alerts, verification codes, and billing notices) that are necessary for the Service to function — if you no longer wish to receive any SMS from us, you should stop using the SMS-dependent features of the Service or close your account.
6. Getting Help (HELP)

7. No Guarantee of Delivery
SMS delivery depends on factors outside our control, including your carrier’s network, your device settings, and third-party SMS gateway providers. We do not guarantee that any message will be delivered promptly, or at all, and we are not liable for missed queue updates or other consequences of non-delivery.
8. Third-Party SMS Providers
We use third-party SMS gateway providers to deliver messages on our behalf. Your mobile number and message content are shared with these providers solely for delivery purposes, subject to their own security and privacy obligations to us.
9. Changes to these SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of SMS features after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
